So! What does everybody think of the upcoming Hyundai Genesis? The Coupe is getting an inline 4cyl with turbo. The v6 will have a little over 300hp. These are going to be nice tuner cars.. Any thoughts?

Once a Hyundai, always a Hyundai .

That's not necessarily a bad thing. The Genesis V8 has nearly 400 horsepower. Lexus was "just a Toyota" once. Then again, the twin turbo Supra was nothing to laugh at either...

I'm alot harder to convince. Theres alot more to a car than an engine with a turbo. Once upon a time the ford probe came with a turbo. I've had the unfortunate experiance of driving one and it sucked! I need to see alot more concrete evidence in order for me to classify this car into what I define as a "tuner car".

Ok, so i did a little more research on the car. If the production car is anything like the concept they released than it may have some potential. First off, It has the option for RWD which for me is a HUGE plus (not a big fwd fan). The article on the concept says that it will also have an optional LSD which is another plus. The concept also had something that hopefully the production model will have, BREMBO BRAKES! I wasn't to happy too hear that they were using the mcphersion style suspension design as opposed to the double wishbone. The car is a little on the heavy side too, and i drive an awd dsm so i'm not exactly a light weight myself.
All in all I think its gonna be interesting to see what hyundai does with this car. They're in new waters with this one so hopefully they do alright.
I'd like to see what turbo they decide to go with
